Tiago is active in the energy, deep-tech and entrepreneurship scene through a range of executive, founder and board-level roles. Most recently, he co-founded Solar Americas Capital with a mission to expand solar deployment in Latin America and EMEA, linking local knowledge to global investors and corporate consumers.

Tiago has held a range of positions in start-ups and in leading multinationals such as IBM and ARM, global leader in semiconductor intellectual property. He worked internationally doing business in Europe, Middle East, USA and Asia. As a Management Consultant, he worked with Marakon Associates in London with some of the world's best-known and successful companies in a range of sectors. He is a certified fund manager with experience in the Brazilian VC/PE scene.

Tiago completed his MBA (First Honors) at the University of Cambridge as a recipient of the Chevening Scholarship. He holds a Masters degree in Marketing and a BSc degree in Electronics Engineering/Physics. At the Harvard Business School, IMD Switzerland, LSE London and at UC Berkeley, Tiago completed programs on Leadership, Corporate Governance, M&A, Green Finance, and Innovations Management. Tiago is a Brazilian-born, who acquired his British citizenship during his years living in the UK.

Marcelo P. Almeida holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Pará (2009) and a MSc. degree (2012) and a Dr. degree (2017) in Energy from the University of São Paulo. He is a Professor at the Institute of Energy and Environment of the University of São Paulo, with experience in Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energies. He is an Associate Editor of the Brazilian Journal of Solar Energy (RBENS) in the area of Economics and Public Policy, a collaborator of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT) and a member of the Board of the Brazilian Solar Energy Association (ABENS).

Abigail Ross Hopper is the President and CEO of the Solar Energy Industries Association, the national trade organization for America's solar energy industries. She oversees all of SEIA's activities, including government affairs, research, communications, and industry leadership, and is focused on creating a marketplace where solar will constitute a significant percentage of America's energy generation. Before joining SEIA, Abby served as Director of the Department of Interior's Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, the Director of the Maryland Energy Administration (MEA), Energy Advisor to Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley, and Deputy General Counsel with the Maryland Public Service Commission. Before embarking on a career in public service, Abby spent nine years in private practice. Abby graduated Cum Laude from the University of Maryland School of Law and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dartmouth College. She is the very proud mom of three children and loves to read and ride on her Peloton.
